SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS:

  • Peer & Social Groups provide a supportive space for children to practice and strengthen a range of skills, including social connection, regulation, planning, problem-solving, executive functioning, and motor skills. These groups are often developed after working with children individually, ensuring they have the foundational skills to engage successfully. By progressing to a small group setting, children can apply these skills in a dynamic social environment, with occupational therapists guiding co-regulation, communication, and peer interactions in real time.  If you think this could benefit your child, please tick this option and after their assessment we can determine the best fit for their needs.

  • Muscles & Mates is a fun, movement-based holiday program designed to help kids build strength, coordination, and confidence through active play. The group, led by occupational therapists, incorporates obstacle courses, teamwork challenges, and motor skill activities to support core stability, balance, and social connection. It’s an excellent way for kids to move, make friends, and develop essential physical and social skills in a supportive environment.

  • Camp Connect is an annual 4-day program (no stay over) during the school holidays (between term 3 and 4), offering a more intense and dynamic experience than in-clinic therapy. Children participate in sensory motor activities and group challenges that build sensory capacities, motor skills, self-regulation, and confidence. The program allows kids to apply therapy learnings in real-world situations, fostering social connections and problem-solving abilities in a way that’s not possible in traditional therapy settings.

  • Intensives 1:1 - This model of therapy enables you to complete a block of therapy during the school holidays rather than attending weekly. Many school-age children find this highly beneficial and can accelerate their therapy opportunities, as before and after-school spots are often much more challenging to secure. This intensive therapy is advantageous, providing structured input once or twice daily, which supports neural pathways through repetitive stimulation in a short period, optimising the brain’s ability to rewire and integrate new patterns more effectively than weekly one-on-one therapy.

  • Holiday group programs - Our holiday programs provide children with engaging, play-based experiences designed to support sensory, motor, and social development in a fun and supportive environment. Led by experienced occupational therapists, our programs focus on building confidence, regulation, and foundational skills through movement, creativity, and teamwork. Some examples of our groups include Gooey Science, Ceramics, LEGO Builders, Art, Yoga and Peer Connection Groups.

  • Our Fine Motor & School Readiness Groups support children in developing the foundational skills needed for confidence in the classroom. Focusing on handwriting, pencil grasp, scissor skills, planning, organisation, and attention, these groups help build independence and readiness for learning. Occupational therapists provide a supportive environment where children can strengthen fine motor, executive functioning, and self-regulation skills through engaging, play-based activities.  If you think this could benefit your child, please tick this option and, after their assessment, we can determine the best fit for their needs.

ASSESSMENT TIMES:

Due to our commitment to pre-booked therapy sessions outside school hours, we schedule assessments during school hours or holidays. We’ve found that these times are particularly beneficial for children, as they tend to be most focused, engaged, and regulated. Schools generally support this approach, recognising the benefits of offering assessments during these times.
